18 For speaking out (A)arrogant words of (B)vanity they (C)entice by fleshly desires, by (D)sensuality, those who barely (E)escape from the ones who live in error, 19 promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for (F)by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved. 20 For if, after they have (G)escaped the defilements of the world by (H)the knowledge of the (I)Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again (J)entangled in them and are overcome, (K)the last state has become worse for them than the first.
